Payment Page Details (Stripe)

1. Payment Methods​

Allow customers to select Stripe as the payment method.

Explain how customers can securely pay with their credit or debit cards via Stripe.

2. Stripe Payment Form​

  • Card Number: A field to enter the credit or debit card number.
  • Expiration Date: A field to enter the card’s expiration month and year (MM/YY).
  • CVV Code: A field to enter the CVV security code on the back of the card.
  • Cardholder Name: A field to enter the name as it appears on the card.

3. Contact Information

  • Email: A field for the customer to enter their email address for receiving order confirmation and updates.
  • Phone Number (optional): A field for the customer to enter their phone number for additional contact.

4. Shipping Information (if applicable)

  • Shipping Address: A field to enter the shipping address where the products should be sent.
  • Shipping Method: If different shipping options are available (e.g., regular or express), allow the customer to choose.

5. Order Summary

  • Items Ordered: Display the names of products, quantities, and unit prices.
  • Shipping Fees: Show the shipping cost, or free shipping if applicable.
  • Total: Display the total amount to be paid, including taxes and shipping fees.

6. Accept Terms and Conditions

Include a checkbox for the customer to agree to the Terms and Conditions before proceeding with the payment.

7. Payment Button

A “Pay Now” or “Place Order” button to confirm the payment.

8. Payment Security

  • Add a message that Stripe is a secure payment processor and internationally trusted.
  • Display the Stripe logo to build customer confidence.

9. Order Confirmation Information

Once the payment is successful:

  • Show a confirmation message such as “Thank you for your order! Your payment has been processed.
  • Send an order confirmation email to the customer, including tracking details (if applicable).

How to Notify Payment

1. Notify Payment via Online System (Stripe)​

After successful payment through Stripe:

  • The system automatically sends a payment confirmation email to the customer with the receipt or order confirmation.
  • Customers can track their payment status via their My Account page.

2. Notify Payment Through Other Channels

If the system doesn’t automatically confirm the payment, or if customers are using other methods like bank transfers, they can notify their payment in the following ways:

  • Fill in the Payment Notification Form
  • Customers can visit the payment notification page on the website (if you have one).

They must fill in the following details:

  1. Order Number
  2. Transferred Amount
  3. Date and Time of Transfer
  4. Payment Proof (e.g., transfer receipt)

If you have a payment management system, customers can enter their details in the payment notification page to notify the support team for verification.

3. Handling Payment Issues

  • If customers face issues or cannot complete the payment successfully:
  • Notify via the support form on the website or contact the support team directly using the Contact page.
  • The support team will assist in resolving the payment issue.

4. Payment Confirmation and Tracking

  • After receiving the payment notification, the system will verify and confirm the payment.
  • Once confirmed, the team will process and ship the order and notify the customer via email or SMS with order updates.
